Dune Developments is a small, founder-led studio. We build software end to end, AI-powered where it actually helps and straightforward where it doesn't. No bloat, no fluff. Correct over fast.
Dune Developments is early-stage and founder-led. One person plus AI-assisted tooling, building products end to end instead of managing a large team. That's a deliberate choice. It keeps decisions fast, keeps the product honest, and keeps every feature accountable to the person actually using it.
The long-term goal is a small, trusted portfolio of software products. Not a single app chasing growth for its own sake. Right now, that means going deep on one product first and getting it right before starting the next.
A workspace built around your own material: recorded lectures, meetings, documents, your own written work. Projects, transcription, mail, calendar and exam practice work today; the AI layer that turns all of it into personalised notes and feedback is being built last, on top of everything it depends on.
Every individual piece, notes, tasks, email, already has a free or cheap tool that does that one thing well. Workly's pitch is doing all of it in one place, for one price. It replaces the separate notes app, task app, email client, and calendar most people juggle, instead of adding another tab to the pile.
It runs as a Windows desktop app, which is the point rather than a limitation: your notes, uploads, transcripts and mail stay on your own machine instead of on somebody's server.
These aren't a poster on a wall. They're the filter every feature and support decision gets run through.
The customer's experience and needs come before internal convenience, every time.
Support is responsive, not a black hole. A real person reviews and replies. No automated silence.
What we build next is driven by what users actually tell us, not just collected and ignored.
What our products deliver to users, and how we operate internally. No wasted motion either way.
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time. We'd rather ship correct than ship fast.
Dune Developments is a young company. Here's honestly where things stand.
Projects, uploads, transcription, exam practice, mail, calendar, timetable, profiles, and the teacher, student, tutor and admin tools are built and tested. The app is exercised by an automated suite that runs on every change.
Deliberately the last thing built, on top of everything it depends on. Nothing in the app calls an AI model yet. The switches that turn each AI feature off are already in place, ahead of the features themselves.
Company registration, a payment processor, and billing inside the app. Terms and a Privacy Policy are published; the rest has to be in place before anyone can be charged.
Workly ships through the Microsoft Store and this website, on Windows desktop. Accounts open at that point, not before.
Today each installation is its own island. Getting a teacher's material or a message to somebody else's computer needs a transport that doesn't exist yet, and it has to be built before schools and companies can rely on it across devices.
Mac and mobile depend on how the Windows release goes rather than on a fixed date. Beyond that: pricing for tutors, schools and companies, and eventually a second product.
Yusuf Alsanousi founded Dune Developments at 16, in Egypt. No coding background. Every product gets built by directing AI tools, Claude and Claude Code, instead of writing code by hand. Product, brand, business, all of it is still his call.
Workly is our first product, not our only work. Whether you need something built from scratch or want more out of Workly than it ships with by default, this is where that starts.
Individuals, businesses, and institutions can hire us to build software from scratch. Same approach as Workly: founder-led, AI-assisted, correct over fast. One feature or a full product, if it's worth building, we'll take it seriously.
Already using Workly and want more from it? Custom integrations, extra features, or tweaks built specifically for your team or school's setup. Workly's standard plans don't have to be the ceiling.
